Mother attacked in Dunwoody home invasion

Police are looking for two armed men who attacked a woman during a robbery inside a residence at the Dunwoody Glen Apartments.

The two armed men entered through an unlocked window while the victim was walking her children to their bus stop.

DUNWOODY, Ga. – Police are looking for two armed men who attacked a woman during a robbery inside a residence at the Dunwoody Glen Apartments.

This happened on November 9 at approximately 6:30 a.m., police describe the suspects to be between the ages of 17 and 25. The two armed men entered through an unlocked window while the victim was walking her children to their bus stop.

Dunwoody Glen Apartments are located at 6750 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

When the woman returned to her home, she was attacked by the two men who punched her in the face, struck her in the head with a handgun and tackled her all while demanding money from her.

Although the victim escaped her attackers after fighting them off, the suspects got away with a large safe containing the victim’s personal valuables and fled on foot out of the same window they entered from.

The first suspect is an unknown race, 6-feet with a thin build, wearing sweat pants with a star pattern below the knee, a long-sleeve sweat shirt, grey mask, gloves and boots. He was armed with a small black gun.

The second suspect is a light-skinned black male, approximately 5'03”-5'08” in height, between 150-170 pounds, stubble/goatee beard, wearing a black/grey sweater, khaki pants and gloves. He was armed with a small knife and metal pipe.
