Police find missing 62-year-old

Update: Police say they found Gwendolyn safe in a neighboring apartment complex. She was sleeping in a breezeway, and has been reunited with family.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Police need the public's help to find a missing 62-year-old woman. 

Gwinnett Police say Gwendolyn Hugbberd was last seen around 2 p.m. in the area near the Retreat at Riverside Apartments in the 1000 block of Duluth Highway. Police said family called investigators around 5 p.m. after they couldn't get in touch with her. 

Investigators said Gwendolyn moved to there a few months ago and is not familiar with the area. They also noted that she left her apartment with no ID or cell phone. 

Police said she goes by the nickname, "Sisco," but she is often distrusting of strangers. 

Hugbbard is 5’01” tall and 130 pounds. Police said she was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue stretch pants, and has a black orthopedic boot on her right foot.  She also walks with a black cane.  

If anyone has any information on where she is, they're asked to call 911 immediately.
