DOUGLAS CO., Ga. - An overturned tractor trailer hit a vehicle on Interstate 20 going westbound just before Lee Road Thursday morning.
According to GDOT, a tractor trailer overturned and left the roadway, trapping a sedan underneath it.
At 6:30 a.m., a tractor trailer was traveling westbound on I-20 near mile marker 43 when it struck a disabled that had one occupant inside.
The driver of the tractor trailer was seriously injured and was life flighted to the hospital.
Crews are on the scene working to clear the wreck as all lanes are shut down. You can use Hwy 78 as an alternate to get to Thornton Rd and Hwy 92.
Expect major delays and drive safely.
