A truck driver has been charged after one of the victims in an 11 vehicle pileup dies nearly four months later.
The multi-vehicle accident happened on November 13, 2017 on Queen City Parkway.
SkyTracker 11 flew over the scene that showed the parkway shutdown and crushed vehicles were removed from the roadway.
Gainesville Police said approximately 11 vehicles including a tractor trailer were involved in the crash and multiple people were hurt; including Nicole Rocafort, 24 of Cumming, Georgia.
On February 19, Gainesville police said Rocafort had died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
As a result, crash investigators charged the truck driver, 41 year-old Anthony Douglas Teague from McDonough, with Homicide by Vehicle in the 2nd degree, following too close and too fast for conditions.
Warrants have been obtained for Teague's arrest and the investigation remains open and active at this time.
