DECATUR, Ga. — One man is dead following a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Decatur Saturday afternoon, police said.
DeKalb County Police officers were called out to Villas at Panthersville Apartment Homes, located at 2933 Panthersville Road, just before 5 p.m.
When they got there, they found a man dead in the parking lot from a gunshot wound. Police said the victim knew the suspects and they were involved in some sort of altercation.
A witness told police they saw two suspects shoot at the victim as he tried to run away.
Detectives are on the scene and trying to find out more about the shooting.
