Dr. Sujatha Reddy has been the Medical Correspondent for 11Alive since 1999. She was born and raised in Chicago but feels honored to call Atlanta home. She earned her bachelors degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and her MD from Albany Medical College. She is a board certified OB/GYN and has a Gynecological practice at Northside Hospital.
Medical news can be complicated and hard to understand. Since the start of her career in medical journalism, Dr. Reddy's goal has been to deliver medical news in a way that informs the audience without causing fear. She always tried to give practical and real-life advice.
Dr. Reddy is an award-winning journalist. She has won an EMMY and has earned an Honorable Mention from the Georgia Associated Press.
In her free time, Dr. Reddy loves to spend time with her son and travel.
