ATLANTA — Gabriella Nuñez-Garcia is a proud Cuban-Panamanian journalist from Miami, Florida, and joined the 11Alive team in October of 2021 ready to tell the rich cultural stories of the metro Atlanta area. You may see her byline as Gabriella Nuñez.
She’s a proud first-generation graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and got her start in broadcast news in Jefferson City, Missouri, as an assignment editor and digital producer for KRCG13. Gaby also had a three-year stint in the land of theme parks while working as a multimedia producer at WKMG News 6 in Orlando producing the weekend morning newscasts and livestream specials with the digital team.
Passionate about multimedia storytelling, Gaby loves to meet people and write how they help shape the community. She enjoys exploring trails with her pups and husband and is currently on a mission to find the best croqueta in Atlanta.
