Grace joins 11Alive from Knoxville, where she served as an investigative reporter for WBIR-TV. She’s passionate about in-depth storytelling and holding the powerful accountable.
During her time in Knoxville, Grace’s exclusive reporting led to a local nonprofit changing its compensation policies after she revealed the organization paid its leader significantly more than any other comparable charity in the country.
She uncovered evidence local police knew of an alleged sexual assault within the department, despite claims it never happened. She also produced a multi-part series detailing how state and local agencies failed to report the deaths of hundreds of inmates.
Grace grew up in Florida and graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications.
Grace has had stops at WUFT, Gainesville’s PBS and NPR affiliate; as well as NBC News in Washington and New York, where she assisted with the network’s coverage of key events such as the 2018 Midterm Election, Paul Manafort trial and the funeral of George H.W. Bush.
Her work has been recognized with multiple regional Edward R. Murrow awards for excellence in innovation and news documentaries. She is also an FAA-certified drone pilot.
Outside of work, Grace is a competitive figure skater who enjoys designing her own dresses. She also loves making pizza, going on long walks, and exploring the city!
