Reggie Chatman Jr. is a sports anchor/reporter for 11Alive in Atlanta, Ga. He is a San Francisco Bay Area native and joined the 11Alive team in August of 2021.
After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in Mass Communication, Reggie stayed in Baton Rouge for the first three years of his career at WBRZ-TV covering the LSU Tigers, Southern University, the Saints, Pelicans and much more.
During his time in The Boot, Reggie followed Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow and the Tigers during their magical 2019 National Championship run. He also enjoyed covering Southern University during multiple runs to SWAC Championship, a NCAA Basketball Sweet 16, two NCAA Baseball Super Regionals and the final three years of Drew Brees’ career in New Orleans.
When Reggie is not working, you can find him spending too much time on social media, losing to middle schoolers in Fortnite, exploring his new city and shooting/editing fun videos for YouTube.
“I fell love with the city of Atlanta when I visited for the first time during the 2019 SEC Championship," said Chatman. "The culture and energy left an impression on me, and I’m so blessed to be able to now call it home.”
Reggie really enjoys meeting new people and making jokes with his followers on Twitter.
