ATLANTA — On Monday, Sept. 19, 11Alive programming will shift to accommodate the broadcast of what's to be historic coverage of the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II.
Britain's longest-reigning monarch will be laid to rest, in an event that will be broadcast live to over 200 countries and territories worldwide and screened to crowds in parks and public spaces across the country.
NBC News' coverage of the event is expected to begin at on 11Alive 5:30 a.m. ET and will extend until Noon.
Here's what you need to know about the changes:
How to watch 11Alive Morning News
From 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., 11Alive Morning News will broadcast as normally on 11Alive.
At 5:30 a.m., news programming will be moved over to our sister-station, WATL and will air until the end of the 6 a.m. newscast.
11Alive will also be streaming the newscasts online at 11Alive.com/watch and on our 11Alive News mobile app.

How to watch coverage of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral

What time does the Queen's funeral begin?
A processional taking the Queen's casket from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey is expected to begin around 10:45 a.m. (5:45 a.m. ET.).
The funeral service at Westminster Abbey is expected to begin at 11 a.m. (6 a.m. ET) and last for roughly one hour. The Archbishop of Canterbury will deliver the sermon, reports CNN.
A procession will then travel through the heart of London, past several significant landmarks -- including Buckingham Palace -- before heading west to Windsor.
At roughly 3 p.m. (10 a.m. ET), the state hearse carrying the Queen will arrive there, where it will join a procession heading to St. George’s Chapel. At 4 p.m. (11 a.m. ET) a committal service will be held at St. George’s Chapel.
