BUFORD, Ga. — A Buford mother will make her “Wheel of Fortune” debut this week.

Nicki Weekes will compete during the show’s Halloween Week on Tuesday. As a fan of the spooky holiday, she celebrates all year long - especially the horror, gory and grotesque. She makes sure people know she's a fan through her fashion, sporting horror character T-shirts and socks throughout the year.

Weekes said she started watching the game show when she was four years old. She's continued the tradition with her husband, Nick, and now 4-year-old daughter Charli. "Wheel of Fortune" is on every night in their home and Weekes uses it to help her little girl learn the alphabet, according to the show.

If she spins big, she would like to take her family on vacation.

People can watch the show weeknights on 11Alive at 7 p.m.
