DECATUR, Ga. — The second location of Roaring Social is set to open in Decatur on the corner of Ponce de Leon and Clairmont Avenue in late 2024, Competitive Social Ventures (CSV) announced on Wednesday.
The location will include two experiences: Sophia's Café and Cocktails and RoSo Treasury. Sophia's, a cafe-style restaurant, is a cover for RoSo, a speakeasy hidden behind "an unassuming banker's vault," according to a press release.
Only those who know the "secret password" will be able to enter the vault and step into the 1920s-set speakeasy, including velvet sofas, live music, bowling lanes, a dance floor, private event spaces and "a roaring good time."
“Roaring Social’s origin story comes from a fictional couple named Robert and Sophia who were the original proprietors of Roaring Social,” CEO of Competitive Social Ventures Neal Freeman said in the release. “We are excited to continue this story with a completely new experience of RoSo Treasury.”
Visitors to the Alpharetta location, which opened in 2021 and features RoSo Clothiers, can find a bronze statue of the fictional pair.
CSV currently owns and operates four entertainment venues in Georgia, spanning its portfolio of brands: Fairway Social, Roaring Social and Pickle Social.
