Fernbank after Dark: Sense-ational Science

Explore the science behind sensations and put those senses to the test! It features after-hours access to the new special exhibit, A Mirror Maze: Numbers in Nature, and the outdoor exhibit, Forest Forms.

Atlanta Contemporary Summer Exhibits

  • Date and location: August 9 at 12 p.m. at Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, 535 Means St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318

Spend the summer season with 30 artists who are capturing what it means to live in Atlanta right now. Thirty Summers invites 30 artists to express how Atlanta has shaped them or fostered unique experiences, whether inspired by magic, mystery, or malaise.

Atlanta Summer Wine Festival

  • Date and location: August 10, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. (Session 1), 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. (Session 2) at Guardian Works, 775 Echo Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308
