Back-to-School Cobb Community Event - July 13
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fair Oaks Recreation Center, 1465 W. Booth Road Ext. SW, Marietta
The event, hosted by the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and Artportunity Knocks, aims to support families and educators with various resources. It features different zones for toddlers, kids, and teens, and provides resources for parents and educators. The event includes concessions and is designed to help the community prepare for the upcoming school year.
Dream Network Back-to-School Bash - July 13
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2125 Rockbridge Road SW, Stone Mountain
Food vendors, games, school supplies, and a giveaway will be available. Many exhibits for daycare, tutoring, and others will be available. A public safety briefing is also expected.

Fulton County Sheriff's Office Back-to-School Giveaway - July 13
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Villages at Carver Family YMCA, Atlanta
It's the third annual back-to-school giveaway hosted by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office. Join them for live entertainment, food, games and free school supplies this year. The event also promises a petting zoo and much more.

Suwanee ES Gives Back for Back to School - July 13-14
From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walmart, 3245 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Suwanee
Suwanee Elementary School, the North Gwinnett Co-Op, and Walmart are teaming up to provide school supplies to more than 700 families. The “Fill That Bus” campaign focuses on providing students with the resources they need to succeed in school. Students will receive pencils, binders, backpacks, markers, and other school supplies.

All In Decatur Back-to-School Bash - July 18 (rain date July 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Green space across from Elizabeth Wilson Student Support Center and Ebster Gym, downtown Decatur
This event promises a fun day full of activities for all ages. People are invited to come out and eat from vendors and buy school supplies. Donations are welcomed.

Shoot Hoops Not Guns Back-2-School Bash - July 19
From 1 p.m. at Hoyt Smith Center, 3444 N. Fulton Ave, Atlanta
This community event, which focuses on violence prevention, will include a youth basketball game, free food, and prizes. Donations are also welcomed.

Wind down the summer at this back-to-school event that promises face-painting, bounce house, music, games, food and a bookbag giveaway from the local middle school. Public health screenings and other offerings will be available.

The Douglas County School System’s annual Back to School Kickoff on July 20, 2024, will offer students games, food, and complimentary backpacks with school supplies. The event will feature community organizations providing resources and screenings for families, ensuring a supportive start to the new school year.
Haralson County's Rebel Fest - July 20
From 10 a.m. to noon at Haralson County High School, 1655 GA-120, Tallapoosa
The event will feature free entertainment for students and families, including games, crafts, food and treats. Students will also be offered free haircuts.

Friends of Hairston Park Back-to-School Resource Fair - July 20

Organizers plan to give away more than 100 backpacks filled with supplies. Families who RSVP will enjoy light snacks, refreshments, games, a reading corner, interactive activities, and a raffle to win prizes.
