ATLANTA — For residents that need a much needed break or would like to visit an Atlanta staple, The High Museum of Art is now launching free admission days each month.
It’s part of their Access for All campaign which offers free admission for the third Wednesday of each month.
Museum officials described the program as part of its Culture Collective initiative. The event will feature events and classes designed for people to explore their curiosity in the arts.
“Through Culture Collective, we aim to foster lifelong learning and growth, celebrate the wonderful diversity of our remarkable city, and embrace accessibility in new and important ways,” said Rand Suffolk, the High’s director.
The Access for All free admission days began on Jan. 17 starting from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., but if you missed Wednesday’s session, there will be more to attend as the program will continue through 2027.
Officials promise art classes, gallery conservations, tours and jazz performances.
“We are grateful to the Art Bridges Foundation for this strategic and vital investment, and we look forward to welcoming all on these special days,” said Suffolk.
