FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — Thousands are expected to flock to Fayetteville on Saturday for rapper Rick Ross's third annual car and bike show.
The big event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at his 235-acre estate, which has been dubbed "The Promise Land." The highly-anticipated event promises hot rides, celebrity guests, food, fun and music, including a performance from fellow rapper Boosie.
The South Fulton Police Department and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office say they expect traffic impacts on State Routes 138 and 279, Old National Hwy, and heavy congestion is anticipated in the area between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Tickets to attend the car show are $250 per person for general admission and $750 to enter the show with your car or bike, which includes two general admission tickets. VIP Parking is also available for $500.
Last year, there were concerns about traffic and safety, but things went smoothly with officers from multiple agencies working on traffic control, and the event was ultimately dubbed a success.
