ATLANTA — The Shaky Knees music festival is making some big changes for next year's event, including a new location and a shift in its usual schedule.

The 2025 festival will take place at Piedmont Park from September 19 to 21, a departure from its previous home at Central Park in Atlanta.

Interestingly, these dates and the Piedmont Park venue align with what has traditionally been the spot for Music Midtown, another major Atlanta music festival. However, Music Midtown did not take place this year, with organizers stating the event was "on hiatus" and encouraging support for live music in the city.

As for Shaky Knees, its lineup for 2025 has not been revealed. The festival, which debuted in 2013, is known for its rock-heavy roster, featuring over 60 bands annually. On its website, organizers describe it as "a rock lover’s dream," showcasing a mix of legendary performers and emerging talent.
