ATLANTA — Atlanta is gearing up for its first drag festival - an extravaganza called WussyFest.
The city's inaugural drag festival descends upon the streets from April 19 to the 21, promising a jubilant celebration of drag and Queer performance art. This three-day spectacle plans to unfold across various iconic venues, including Underground ATL, Park Tavern, City Winery and Finca to Filter.
Embracing a diverse lineup of events, WussyFest will cater to all tastes, from electrifying drag shows to pulsating dance parties, insightful panels, immersive workshops, and vibrant artist markets. This groundbreaking festival aims to establish itself as an annual beacon of Queer culture in the Southeast.

Friday, April 19
Kicking off the festivities is the "Hard Launch!" WussyFest Kickoff Party at ATL Underground, featuring electrifying sets by DJ Trixie Mattel, Ree de la Vega, Gorp, and Octopus. The party starts at 9 p.m. and is open to those 18 and older.
Saturday, April 20
The day kicks off with a delightful Burlesque Brunch at City Winery, followed by an Artist Market, Outdoor Drag Shows, and Panels & Workshops at Underground ATL, all open to attendees of all ages.
The evening crescendos with the Main Event Drag Show featuring the sensational Symone, promising an unforgettable night of glamour and talent. Later, the festivities continue with WussyFest Late Night at Future, presented by Nonsense ATL, where the party doesn't stop until the early hours. Entry to this event is restricted to those 21 and older.
Sunday, April 21
As the weekend draws to a close, WussyFest invites guests to a thought-provoking Queer Media Panel Discussion at Finca to Filter O4W. Following this, Park Tavern hosts a Drag Brunch with Symone, providing the perfect blend of entertainment and culinary delights. The weekend concludes with the Sunday Tea Dance at Park Tavern, offering a lively finale to this extraordinary festival.
