Unit Publicist Carol McConnaughey said that several sites will be used in Gwinnett, but she could not yet disclose specific locations. What is clear is that since the movie is about cars, there will be shots of action on closed streets.
"It's safe to say, it is a 'Fast & Furious' movie, any area (in) Atlanta will see some ... car action," McConnaughey said. "We're excited to be back in Atlanta because we filmed 'Fast & Furious 5' here."
A second team is filming in Colorado for the latest movie, but the main group will be in metro Atlanta.
