(WXIA) -- Monday, Taylor Swift debuted the video for her new single "Blank Space." In it she plays an 'insane' version of herself, taking revenge on her boyfriend. Her boyfriend is played by Kennesaw native Sean O'Pry. For years he has topped Forbes list of the top earning male models. But he considers himself very fortunate to get the opportunity to have worked with Taylor Swift. He still is wrapping his head around the viral success of the music video.
"I don't know if I've really been able to really think about it. its been go go go since then," he said.
Sean has an incredible story in his own right. He was discovered on Myspace in 2006 since then has been modeling for some of the biggest names in fashion.
He also had a brush with Hollywood when he was asked to read for the part of Christian Grey for the movie Fifty Shades of Grey.
"They had some guys read for it in my industry," he said. "I didn't get it because obviously I wasn't any good."
O'Pry doesn't have any hard feelings for the person who did get the part.
"Jamie Dornan got it, a model I met at a Calvin show, it's great for him," he said.
He hopes that he isn't done acting. He is taking classes and hopes to get another shot at an acting role. Saying taking part in the Taylor Swift video inspired him to pursue acting.
O'Pry says he still misses the Atlanta area, and he gets home as often as he can. When he's here he likes to see friends and family drive his cars and relax. He may even take a trip to Waffle House to eat. In case you wondering he likes his hash browns -- "smothered, covered, chunked and diced."
