A new Miss World reigns!
On Sunday, Miss Puerto Rico, Stephanie Del Valle, was crowned the 66th Miss World during the pageant's final round at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Md.
The 19-year-old is a pre-law and communications student at Pace University in New York City, according to NBC News.
Last year's winner, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain, was there to hand over the crown and title to the new Miss World.

The first runner up to Del Valle, Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez, was also from Caribbean nation -- the Domincan Republic. Second runner up went to Natasha Mannuela, Miss Indonesia.
