ATLANTA – George Strait is coming back to Atlanta – for one night only. Chris Stapleton, Chris Janson and singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde will accompany the country icon on stage.
The concert is scheduled for March 30, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
It’s a rare appearance for the icon – he last performed in Atlanta in 2014 during the Cowboy Rides Away Tour, the final full tour of his career.
Tickets for the March show go on sale Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
Throughout his 30-year career, Strait has had 60 chart-topping songs and 33 platinum albums -- only trailing The Beatles and Elvis Presley.
Strait was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
