ATLANTA — Atlanta's own Lil Baby is celebrating his birthday soon -- and you can be part of the celebration again.
The local rapper, whose birthday is Dec. 3, announced Friday he is bringing back the "Lil Baby + Friends Birthday Celebration" to State Farm Arena for another year.
The GRAMMY Award-winning artist held a similar event last year in December and also in 2021, but this year's concert promises to be a star-studded event "geared to be the best concert yet."
Guest artists for this year's birthday celebration concert have not yet been announced, but Drake, 21 Savage, Future, Lil Yachty and others joined the show during the 2022 performance, according to the online concert archives.
This year, Lil Baby headlined his first multi-city "It's Only Us" (or I.O.U.) tour, which kicked off in July and ran through September. It featured Rylo Rodriquez, Glorilla, GlossUp, Hunxho and others. Noticeably absent from the tour dates, though, was a stop in Atlanta.
In response, Lil Baby assured his hometown it wouldn't get passed up and posed a "would you rather" question: A tour date or a Lil Baby and Friends birthday concert like he's been hosting for the past three years.
Well, it appears fans have now got their answer. Tickets for the 2023 concert go on sale Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. and will be available through Ticketmaster.com.
The celebration is set to happen in Downtown at State Farm Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. Doors are set to open at 6 p.m. More details are listed on the State Farm Arena website.
