Many locals were skeptical when rumors started circulating Friday about a surprise Keith Urban concert at the Buc-ee's in Athens, Alabama.
"It took a little bit of trying to figure out if it was actually true or not," said Jessie Holland. “We found some people that were passing by and said there really is a stage set up there, so here we are.”
Photos taken by attendee Serio Hobbs capture the sheer scale and energy of the event. Aerial shots reveal a massive crowd packed tightly in front of the stage, with fans stretching far beyond the parking lot. The bright lights from the stage and the bustling atmosphere at the popular travel stop created a unique backdrop for the unexpected concert.
