A casting call brings looks from the past back for an upcoming production of 'Lovecraft Country.'

Casting directors are now looking for African American kids with looks from the 1950s for a shoot on July 30.

KIDS WITH 1950 LOOKS

  • Age: 9-15

  • Rate: $120/8 hrs

  • Filming Dates: 7/30

  • Location: Atlanta

  • Boys must have hair that they are willing to cut/trim to match the period.

It is suggested that all children must be registered with the Georgia Department of Labor before making the submission.

Casting directors also ask for parents to submit three different pictures of their child actor (head and body and a selfie holding a paper with the date on it).

The application asks for information about the actor’s name, age and other details that can be found on the casting website, Project Casting.

The upcoming HBO television special takes viewers to the 1950s as a man travels the country to find his missing father. The series is based on the novel by Matt Ruff and will star Abbey Lee and Chase Brown.

A-Scene Insiders have already seen production signs in parts of Covington and Newnan.

On June 10, Winters Media & Publishing uploaded photos to Instagram, showing the production crew at work.
