ATLANTA — The anticipation for the release of the latest Marvel film "Avengers: End Game" is already sending fans into a frenzy, but beer drinkers noticed a familiar looking brand in one of the scenes from the trailer.
Twitter user @bryans989 wrote, "Am I crazy or is Thor drinking Athena in the new Avengers trailer? @creaturebeer @Russo_Brothers."
Another user agreed that the product placement could be a nod to the Russo Brother love for the local brew.
"There are multiple layers of how good this is. The Russo brothers LOVE @creaturebeer. Joe Russo wore a Tropicalia shirt unexpectedly to the D23 Avengers Panel. But you have superhero god of thunder drinking Athena, the goddess of just about everything, including war," @Ludakit wrote.
Creature Comforts responded nodding that the drink would be the perfect choice for Thor.
"Athena is the Greek Goddess of Wisdom & Warfare - we think it is only fitting that Thor, the God of Thunder, would choose to drink Athena right? #nectarofthegods "

The latest "Avenger" movie was filmed in Atlanta! Are Black Panther and Spider-Man really dead? Is Iron Man still stuck in space? Is Captain America really saying goodbye? And who's gonna give Thanos the major whuppin' he deserves?
These questions and more have been plaguing Marvel superhero fans since the finger-snapping, mind-blowing cliffhanger of "Avengers: Infinity War."
The film will put a bow on the original 22-movie Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that started with 2008's "Iron Man." It's likely the last major appearances for Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk).
Films of other MCU characters are expected in the future including this summer's "Spider-Man: Far From Home" and a solo film for Scarlett Johannson's Black Widow.
