It's time for season six! The show stars some of Atlanta's elite in the medicine world. Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dir, Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush-Harris, Quad Webb-Lunceford, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Mariah Huq are all back this season.

You know The A-Scene is here to get the tea! We chatted with Toya and Quad to find out what to expect on the show. They are excited for what's to come and can't believe the amount of success they've had on it.

"A lot of us knew each other, but relationships weren't as close as they are today," Quad said.

Toya added that she loves sharing her life with the viewers, especially when it comes to looking back at how much her children have grown.

"People have literally seen them grow from babies to 6 to 8 years old and talking on TV," she said.

Quad also talked about the challenges of being in the public spotlight. Since last season, Quad has moved into the guest bedroom and things are tense between her and Dr. G. She's not letting that stop her career as a successful talk show host on Sister Circle though!

"When you read some of the things on social media and how they just have a strong opinion, of they who they think you are," she said.

"It's been taxing, it's been emotionally draining at times," she said.

Season 5 concluded with a heartfelt reunion. Dr. Simone and her husband Cecil hade filed for a divorce, but friends stepped in to help bring them back together in the final episode of the reunion.

Also working on restoration is Dr. Jackie and Curtis. The two are healing, working on overcoming infidelity.

Toya and Dr. Eugene put their tax issues behind them and celebrated with a party last season! Their 10-year anniversary is coming up!

"Me and Eugene are in the black! We've paid off some things" she said.

Toya did give insight on her relationship with Quad and how they've been able to overcome hardships together.

"We wanted Quad to know that we wanted to be there for her, and this season was hard because the one thing we learned about Quad is that she can be very guarded," she said. "We thought that this is something that she would have wanted to share with us. But it was something she wanted to share with us when she was ready, not when we were ready,"

Quad said during certain time this season, she initially didn't understand why some of the ladies where coming across so hard on her.

"It was hurtful and I wouldn't have translated my love and care that way. I would have did it in a different way," Quad said.

But even through the hardships, there is some positivity.

"It's inspiring, it's motivating, it's there to show people, 'Guess what, we too go through these things and this is how I got through it.'"

In this season, Dr. Heavenly is still on her spiritual journey and seeking help to understand her anger. Business is booming in the world of dentistry for her!

Contessa finding the balance she was seeking when it comes to raising her kids. This season you will see her take careful measures for breast cancer prevention after a family member gets a critical diagnosis.

Speaking of health, Mariah and Aydin will get closer after an unexpected health scare shakes up the family.

This only scratches the surface of what you'll see this season.

While Toya and Quad talked with The A-Scene, they even answered some of The A-Scene Insider questions.

"We go there a lot," Quad said.

"O'mei has amazing food," Toya added.
