ATLANTA — It appears that filming for the upcoming film “Bad for Life,” starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence is not complete.
We caught some photos from the directors of the film that point to more filming at a very popular studio.
So, we did some snooping Sunday night to see how production was coming on the Georgia filmed third installment of the and learned that they are now shooting at Tyler Perry Studios!
The A-Scene’s snagged images from the Instagram page of the movies two directors.
Director Adil E Arbi posted, "S/O to the @tylerperrystudios and @tylerperry !!! #badboysforlife #hollywoodinatlanta lets do it!"'
Also, it looks like the movie is increasing its celebrity appearances. Not only will DJ Khaled be in the film but Will.I.Am is set be in it as well!
Just a few weeks ago, viewers were on the edge of their seats as the first official trailer was released!
The trailer features action-packed scenes with stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence who reprise their roles as Miami detectives.
The plot for this new installment is “Ride Together, Die Together” and follows the Miami PD and its elite AMMO team’s attempt to take down the head of a drug cartel.
A cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature is committed to the work of the cartel and is dispatched by his mother to kill Mike (Smith).
The new film also stars Joe Pantoliano, Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, Charles Melton, Jacob Scipio and Paola Nuñez.
"Bad Boys for Life” was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who are most known for directing episodes of FX’s Snowfall.
Although the trailer looks like the filmed entirely in Miami, several scenes were filmed throughout Atlanta including the areas of Buckhead, Kirkwood, and Little Five Points.
The A-Scene spotted Smith and Lawrence on the first day of filming in Atlanta.
Just two days before, Smith and Lawrence hosted a screening preparing for the first day of shooting
"Bad Boys For Life" is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Melissa Reid, Chad Orman, Mike Stenson, and James Lassiter.
Smith and Lawrence made box office history when the original “Bad Boys” hit theaters in 1995 and became a success.
The film grossed $65.8 million in domestic box office revenue.
The duo then came back nearly a decade later with a fiercely produced sequel “Bad Boys II” in 2003.The film grossed $138.6 million.
“Bad Boys 4 Life” hits theaters in January 2020.
