Ryan Seacrest to be inducted into Radio Hall of Fame

“29 years ago when I was an intern at STAR 94 in Atlanta, with no clue that I would one day be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame,” Seacrest wrote in a tweet.

Ryan Seacrest is reaching new heights in his career as he is set to take home a major recognition in the broadcast industry.

Seacrest, a Georgia native and University of Georgia grad, will be inducted into the 2019 Radio Hall of Fame.

“29 years ago when I was an intern at STAR 94 in Atlanta, with no clue that I would one day be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame,” Seacrest wrote in a tweet. “Thank you to everyone who voted, whether it was by choice...or if the @onairwithryan team wore you down. It’s a dream come true!”

Seacrest airs two shows “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and “American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest” from b KIIS-FM in Los Angeles. The nationally syndicated programs are distributed by by Premiere Networks. KIIS is an iHeart radio station.

“I’m especially proud to welcome these individuals into the Radio Hall of Fame,” RHOF Chairman Kraig Kitchin said. “Their on-air performances and audience relationships are especially remarkable. Each of our 2019 nominees are worthy of induction and I’m appreciative of all those who participated in our process of selecting our Class of 2019, who will join the 238 Radio Hall of Fame inductees already recognized for their great work.”

Seacrest, 44, is one of the busiest hosts in the industry- in fact, he just renewed his contract to host red carpet events for E! as well.
