ATLANTA- What a whirlwind 24 hours for "Queer Eye"! In that span, the show's producers learned it was nominated for four Emmys, that it was renewed for a third season with Netflix, and then today it was announced the show is moving out of Atlanta for next season.
Word of the move came through the show's social media site. For the first two seasons the hit spinoff of Bravo's "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" series was based out of Atlanta.
The show is described as, "A new Fab Five set out to Atlanta to help the city's straight men refine their wardrobes, grooming, diet, cultural pursuits, and home décor". The show actually broadened its mission though and featured episodes centered around helping gay and transgender clients up their game too.
Here's the official trailer for the show:
We don't know if this is a temporary move as the show broadens its reach, or if the fab five will return to Atlanta for some episodes in the future. We'll keep you posted as we get more information on the A-Scene.
