Snow in Midtown - but it's only 60 degrees!

If you drove near Piedmont Park, you saw an unusual sight - but there's a reasonable explanation.

ATLANTA — Friday afternoon brought the typical onslaught of traffic to Atlanta's Midtown neighborhoods. And some of those drivers saw something that seemed to defy logic - snow.

It's not like Atlanta hasn't seen the stuff before, but it's a little strange to have the powdery stuff blanketing the roadsides and some yards off of Piedmont Road - especially since the temperature is hovering just below 60.

It's hardly even jacket weather here, so where did it come from? Well, the mystery has been solved.

A group is filming in the area and apparently, Atlanta's evergreen nature didn't fit the scenes they were filming.

One man who claimed to be working with the production team said they were filming a movie with Kevin Hart, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jack Black. For the uninitiated, all three of those men last worked together in the Jumanji reboot and are listed in the cast for the upcoming sequel.

If that's the case, it looks like part of the movie will take place somewhere - cold.
