McFLY, 1080, BLK45, PCF7 - These are all sign codes used by the Netflix hit “Stranger Things.” Production stayed just North of the city last week, and by the looks of the latest casting calls, they’ll continue shooting around Atlanta this week.

STU - “Stuber” continues shoots around downtown this week, filming an “art gallery" scene on Monday and Tuesday. The comedy-drama movie is about an Uber driver that gets roped in to a detectives search for a dangerous killer. It stars Dave Bautista from “Guardians Of The Galaxy”.

MULE - After a busy stretch of filming in Augusta, the Clint Eastwood-directed movie “The Mule” is set to move production to Atlanta this week. It’s based on the true story of a World War II veteran in his 90s that gets caught smuggling millions of dollars in drugs for the Sinaloa Cartel. They put out a bunch of casting calls at the end of last week, so keep your eye out for more this week. We’ll keep you updated on any major ones we see!

WMW - “What Men Want” continues a busy shooting schedule around Atlanta, moving to Piedmont Park at the end of last week. Inspired by the 2000 romantic comedy “What Women Want,” the movie is about a female sports agent who suddenly gets an edge over her male counterparts when she develops the ability to hear their thoughts. The A-Scene spotted this “WMW” sign off I-85N at the Buford Highway exit just last week!

BKLN, CHAR - HBO has lumped several projects under the code name “Brooklyn.” The pilot based on the DC graphic novel “The Watchmen” used production signs marked “CHAR” in Macon in early June. A project based on the life of African American U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves used “BKLN” signs last month and also shoots under the code name “Brooklyn”. There were shoots last week in Union City and Newnan under the name “Brooklyn”.

NWH - We've seen a number of casting calls for a production operating under the code name “NWH” in the past week. Several people on our A-Scene Facebook Group tell us they've worked on the production and it's for the YouTube Red show, “Now We Here.” Let us know if you see any “NWH” signs around town!
