ATLANTA — It's no secret that mega star Dwayne The Rock Johnson is in Atlanta frequently in town to film for his blockbuster movies, but one local high school team spotted the actor in probably one of the last places you'd expect - on the Downtown Connector.
An Instagram post by The Rock shows the actor rolling down I-75/85 through Midtown in traffic (because, Atlanta - Duh!) next to a bus from the Lovett School. Jonson said the (pollen-covered - again, it's Atlanta!) windows on his pickup truck are usually enough to keep the lookie-lous from recognizing his face - but not this time.
"I keep my windows super tinted on my pick up truck, but with the sun at just the right angle - people see thru my front windshield at some dude who looks a lot like The Rock," he wrote in his post.
The video shows the team - on their way to a baseball game - cheering at The Rock through the windows.
"You're going to (the game) now?" he asks through his window.
"Yeah!" they cheer.
"You're gonna kick ass?" he asks back.
"Yeah!"
"Hell yeah," he says.
In the post, Johnson said, "hope you boys kept your word and kicked ass. Keep workin’ hard."
As for a bit of final advice, he had this to say: "Driver, keep your eyes on the road 😉💪🏾."
