Former Fox 5 anchor Roy Hobbs, who spent many years at Fox 5 Atlanta, was found dead in his West Palm Beach, FL, apartment.
Fox 5 confirmed reports Hobbs' death.
Hobbs' cause of death is unknown, although authorities determined “there was no sign of foul play,” according to Fox 5. Hobbs did have stents surgically installed in his heart, and he was facing health challenges in that regard.
Hobbs' last known job was as an anchor on WRDE in Delmarva, DE, an NBC affiliate.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Hobbs, daughter Taylor Hobbs, son Roy Hobbs III.
