Baby panda alert! Toronto Zoo has 9-month-old twins

Other highlights at Toronto Zoo include a new baby polar bear, a gorilla rainforest and an African savanna.

The Toronto Zoo's female giant panda, Er Shun, gave birth Oct. 13, 2015, to Canada's first-ever panda babies. The twins are a boy, Jia Panpan, and a girl, Jia Yeuyeu.

If the kids — or you — have panda fever after watching Po and his pals in the Kung Fu Panda 3 movie, now’s the time to head to the Toronto Zoo, where 9-month-old cubs Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue and their parents are delighting visitors.

The giant panda babies are now growing much larger — Jia Panpan is 37 pounds while Jia Yueyue is 29 pounds — and are personalities in their own right.
