ATLANTA — Zoo Atlanta's giant panda, Yang Yang, is looking to keep his winning streak alive as he made his prediction Thursday for the 2023 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
The atmosphere inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Dec. 30 game between Penn State and Ole Miss should be panda-monium, but one fan base might feel a little more hopeful after the prediction.
If you're a Penn State fan, you have reason for optimism, as the 26-year-old panda bear didn't waste any time picking the Nittany Lions over the Ole Miss Rebels for his selection.
Yang Yang is 4-3 all-time in his Peach Bowl predictions, but has won three straight games dating back to 2020 -- with two of those being Georgia Bulldog victories. After starting out his career 1-3, Yang Yang has found his footing of late.
Watch Yang Yang make his prediction below:
Faced with two identical boxes painted with each team's logo, Yang Yang quickly went for the blue Penn State box and devoured the hay inside. Good news for you, Penn State fans. The only bit of bad news -- Yang Yang is 0-2 when picking against SEC teams in the Peach Bowl.
The game kicks off on Dec. 30 at noon EST on ESPN.
