FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A beloved K-9 with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office is resting after undergoing emergency surgery.
K-9 Ian is now on his road to recovery, a social media post from the sheriff's office read.
"Our K9s are an integral part of the FCSO family, and K9 Ian holds a special place in our hearts. Your strength and resilience inspire us all," the sheriff's office wrote.
The sheriff's office posted the photos below as K-9 Ian begins to recover.
"Our thoughts and support are with his dedicated handler, Sgt. Slay, during this time," the sheriff's office added.
