ATLANTA — A diverse range of Latin flavors will be displayed during Atlanta's second annual Latin Restaurant Weeks (LRW).
The two-week campaign is meant to drive awareness of the variety of Latin regions and their cuisines in Atlanta.
All things Atlanta-based and Latino-owned are on display. From Latin chefs, restaurant owners, caterers and bakeries, LRW will help spotlight Latin flavors offered throughout the metro.
Hosted in partnership with its philanthropic arm, Feed the Soul Foundation, the event will return to the metro after first being launched in 2022.
In its second year, more than 30 local restaurants are featured, and participants will highlight menu selections that represent their restaurant's culture and flavor.
Foodies can expect to find everything from traditional hand-made tamales at La Mixteca Tamale House in Smyrna to delicious empanadas at Belen de la Cruz, an Argentinian restaurant in Johns Creek.
Apart from bringing prominence to diverse cuisine in Atlanta, local restaurants highlighted will also receive free marketing during the event, as many businesses need help to afford to pay for such services, according to event organizers.
The two-week event started on Friday, Nov. 3, and ends Friday, Nov. 17.
