ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A family-style Italian restaurant chain has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is shutting down locations across the United States, according to USA Today.

Buca di Beppo's Alpharetta location off Mansell Road is one of the locations the chain is shuttering.

The blame is being placed on financial issues that spark from rising costs and hiring difficulties, according to court papers USA Today obtained. The company owes its creditors nearly $50 million.

Buca di Beppo restaurants are operated in states such as Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Colorado, California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky.

The restaurant chain will be restructuring 44 locations, USA Today reported. Buca di Beppo has more than 3,000 part-time employees and 266 full-time employees.
