ATLANTA — Mi Barrio, a longtime restaurant across from Oakland Cemetery, announced it's closing its doors after serving the community for 26 years.
According to the restaurant's social media post, owners Martha and Jesus Lopez have decided to retire.
The restaurant at 571 Memorial Dr. SE will permanently close its doors on Nov. 16.
"This decision wasn’t easy, but it’s time for our family to focus on the next chapter of our lives," the post added. "We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support and loyalty over the years. Serving you has been our pleasure, and we will always cherish the relationships we’ve built at MiBarrio."
