ATLANTA — One of Atlanta's more distinctive restaurant chains is taking on a new look.
Mellow Mushroom, the pizza chain that got its start here in Atlanta and has now expanded to 18 states, unveiled a new look this week. It includes a new logo, branding and restaurant designs - but don't worry, the pizza chain isn't shedding its psychedelic roots.
The new logo features purple lettering along with a pizza slice/mushroom design that brings in some pink as well.
In a release, Mellow Mushroom's vice president of brand development Anne Mejia said the rebranding effort was a "true labor of love - over a year in the making."
"“This launch honors where we came from while redefining the future of Mellow Mushroom with a fresh look," she said.
