ATLANTA — A popular barbeque eatery in Atlanta is closing its doors at one of its two locations after more than 15 "incredible years" in business.

D.B.A. Barbeque announced it would be saying goodbye to its location in Atlanta's Virginia Highland neighborhood, but its owners announced it will be opening up a brand new restaurant called "DBA Tacos and BBQ" this spring.

"From the bottom of our hearts, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every person who has walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, and made us a part of your lives," a Facebook post from the restaurant said. "It’s been an honor to call Virginia-Highland home, and we will forever cherish the relationships we’ve built with our neighbors."

The owners of the restaurant also said their neighborhood "not only supported our business but also ensured the livelihood of our staff."

D.B.A. Barbeque has one other location in the Chastain area, located at 4441 Roswell Road in Atlanta.

After 15 incredible years of serving up mouthwatering barbecue and creating unforgettable memories, we’re saying goodbye...
