ATLANTA — A pioneering Atlanta BeltLine restaurant is expanding to West Midtown, a district dotted with Michelin-starred eateries and trendy entertainment venues.
Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is planning a new location at Star Metals District, according to plans filed in Atlanta.
The restaurant would remake a one-story warehouse at 690 11th Street, per the plans. The site is part of a future expansion at Star Metals, and eventually the property will be redeveloped into West Midtown’s tallest tower.
It’s not clear yet if Ladybird would remain at the project long term. But Allen Morris, the developer of Star Metals, also lured popular restaurant Fishmonger to its property. That restaurant will be relocated to Star Metals' new residential tower, Stella, when it finishes construction.
