ATLANTA — Red Lobster announced new menu items amid the attempt to revive the seafood chain.
The new menu comes after Red Lobster exited Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection back in September following months of dozens of restaurant closings.

On Monday, the restaurant chain posted a photo of the new menu items. Here's a look at what is on the revamped menu:
- Lobster bisque
- Bacon-wrapped sea scallops
- Parmesan-crusted chicken
- Lobster pappardelle pasta
- Lemon basil mahi
- Roasted asparagus
- Hush puppies
In an interview with the TODAY Show, the chain's new CEO, Damola Adamolekun, said his goal is to make Red Lobster better than it was before.
“Relevant, compelling and exciting is what we want Red Lobster to be for the future, and so we’re working on that now,” Adamolekun told the TODAY Show.
Among the other menu changes, Adamolekun said it would no longer offer its "endless shrimp" deal, which has seemingly led to many of the chain's financial woes.
Instead, Adamolekun told the TODAY Show that the chain would bring back a fan favorite, hush puppies, and focus on Lobsterfest-- a limited-time annual event featuring lobster dishes.
“This year we want to make (Lobsterfest) bigger and better than ever. You know what we’re calling it? The GLOAT: the greatest lobster fest of all time,” Adamolekun added.
