GEORGIA, USA — If you want a plant-based lifestyle or switch up your lunch with a healthy meal, you are in luck. Four Georgia vegan restaurants made Yelp's Top 100 in the nation list.
Nov. 1 is World Vegan Day, celebrating veganism and its benefits.
According to Yelp, several trends are driving customers to seek out more plant-based items, including raw vegetable cravings and dupes of their favorite and most unique meals.
The Georgia restaurants on the list spanned from Georgia's coast in Savannah to metro Atlanta areas.
Here are the four restaurants representing the Peach State:
- Hungry Vegan in Savannah ranked No. 73
- Green Love Kitchen in Lithonia ranked No. 91
- VeGreen Vegetarian Fusion Restaurant in Duluth ranked No. 92
- La Semilla in Atlanta ranked No. 99
According to Google, the top-rated restaurant in Georgia, Hungry Vegan, serves a spin on soul food.
VeGreen Vegetarian Fusion Restaurant has its own take on pan-Asian cuisines.
Those who would like to enjoy the No. 1 vegan restaurant in the country, according to Yelp, will have to travel across the country to lil' Vegerie in Redondo Beach, California.
