ATLANTA — Torchy's Tacos is bringing its Tex-Mex bold flavors and spices to the Peach State!
The Austin, Texas-based taco chain is opening its first location in Midtown Atlanta. It'll be at 1055 Howell Mill Road, Suite 130, which is down the street from Shake Shack West Midtown and the Barcelona Wine Bar.
The new restaurant is set to open at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. At the grand opening, you can also enter for a chance to win free queso for a year, according to the restaurant's social media post.
Torchy's Tacos menu features popular dishes such as green chile queso, Trailer Park taco, which consists of fried chicken, green chiles, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheddar jack cheese, and poblano sauce on a flour tortilla, and the Crossroads taco, which is made of smoked beef brisket, grilled onions, jalapeños, cilantro and jack cheese with tomatillo sauce on a corn tortilla. And if you want to crank up the heat-- the Diablo sauce is a must-try!
If you're looking for something sweet, the restaurant chain also has churros made with buttermilk and dusted with sugar and cinnamon, served with a side of dulce de leche.
