DORAVILLE, Ga. — Usher's mom, Jonnetta Patton, has opened a BBQ food truck in Doraville, Georgia.
Earlier in August, J's Smokehouse held its grand opening, and Usher made an appearance to support his mom. According to the restaurant's website, the food truck offers authentic barbecue with a modern twist.
"Head Chef Greg Dennis BBQ Ribs and Brisket were a Hugh hit and Usher dropped in during the live celebration!!! I was very happy and appreciative for all the support from everyone in attendance," Patton wrote on Instagram.
J's Smokehouse is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 3996 Pleasantdale Rd. in Doraville.
The menu features items including smoked brisket, grilled BBQ ribs, grilled BBQ chicken, smoked turkey legs, grilled sausage and all of the fixins, such as southern braised collard greens, BBQ baked beans, slaw and five-blend macaroni and cheese.
There are also vegan options, including a plant-based pulled pork sandwich with kale slaw and grilled plant-based hot dogs with broccoli slaw.
