Depending on who you ask, it's official: Atlanta is one of America's best food cities.
Zagat, a national restaurant review guide, ranked Atlanta as the 9th most exciting food city in America, beating out New York City; San Francisco, Cali.; Nashville, Tenn.; and others.
The list said 2017 'cemented' the Capital City of the South's status as a culinary force. It stated that Atlanta continued to spread its influence throughout the southern region with locations of 1Kept, Ghion Cultural Hall, Farm Burger and more.
"Atlanta's culinary scene in 2017 felt like it was constantly in motion, as usual, which meant ATL diners felt completely at home," Christopher Hassiotis wrote.
