COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Spring is here in Georgia — with Easter nipping at its heels.
As families all over stuff their baskets with goodies for loved ones and get their supplies ready to dye eggs — or whatever their traditions entail — some face challenges that can overshadow the season.
But then there are bright lights in this world that can shine and provide a little joy for those in the midst of any hardship.
An example is at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center, where nurses hopped into the holiday spirit to uplift families whose babies are in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, according to a release. The NICU is designed for infants who need more care and medical attention.
The nurses at the center have worked to ensure these families won't miss this year's festivities by involving their tiniest patients. Adorable baby bunnies have been seen across the facility as the babies were dressed up this year, according to a release.
