Troup County firefighters rescue puppy from car crash wreckage

TROUP COUNTY, Ga. — One pup has a new leash on life after being rescued by a pair of kind Troup County firefighters Friday morning. 

While working a serious crash on I-85, two firefighters rescued the furry passenger from a wrecked vehicle. 

The Troup County Sheriff's Office shared the sweet moment on social media, recognizing their heroic actions.

What a 'paw'-sitive ending to a scary situation! 

While working a serious accident this morning on Interstate 85, two of our partners with the Troup County Fire Department rescued a 4 legged passenger 🐶 from the wrecked vehicle. Great job guys! #TCSO #TCFD
